FAQ
Hey, what's going on?
Our staff at the Box Elder Public Library sincerely thanks and appreciates the dedication of our patrons. Their ongoing interest in our latest projects has been beyond our expectations.
Unfortunately, it has also been beyond the abilities of our staff. Our current main focus, the "Un-Monster" collection, contains large quantities of junk which we have to clean, organize and process for the website.

We always seek to put the well-being of our staff first and foremost. For their sake, we are hereafter (starting January 22, 2021) limiting project updates to once per week on weekends. This will allow for high quality and accuracy of our updates. An update may include one or multiple files from the collection. This will be our primary focus from here on out.

Similarly, our project manager Oliver will answer questions regarding the status of the update on weekends starting January 22, 2021. Patrons who submit questions during the week may have to wait until the weekend for a response. He will be as cooperative as possible.

While we encourage patrons to email Oliver if they have questions, we offer a reminder that such contact is unnecessary. If you don't need specific help with something, don't worry about him. We also encourage you to seek out other patrons who may be willing to share their own library experiences. Don't worry, though. Oliver is not going anywhere any time soon. We will make sure of it.

We thank you for your collaboration.
Can I check out a book?
No.

Unfortunately, our library services are unavailable for the foreseeable future. We apologize for the inconvenience.
If you have any questions or concerns about our Un-Monster project, I will be happy to assist you.
Can I renew my library card?
No.
We are closed until further notice. If your card expires in the next twelve months, we will automatically renew it.
Please do not come to the library. It is closed and no one is there.
What is the "Un-Monster" project?
That page is dedicated to updates on our current big project, which archives a fairly recent, anonymous donation. See our other pages for details.
